Miserable monday

Had a fantastic saturday at the Mantic Games open day,I was invited along with other splendid creative chaps to chat about our work and to sign arty prints..everyone had tremendus fun trying out the new Dreadbal game....but now autumn seems to of made a comeback..so to cheer everyone up heres a personal bit of art, confederate cavalry group shot...and more steampunk latter in the week as we explore the desert with the french foreign legion

Gremlins on the line!!!

Third attempt to up load a bit of art to blogger,think I've taken for granted having a cool super fast internet connection...how did we all cope back in the days of squealing torment that was dial-up....working on some really fun projects at the moment,which will be unveiled shortly...had a bit of fun painting a french light infantryman...with a looted chicken :)

Busy week ahead,and some very exciting concept art im working on,finally not raining so I can let my grumpy rabbits out to play...heres a quick sketch of a prussian...the keen eyed of you will spot that this  resembles the prussian tank commander from the Dystopian Wars boxed set...thats coz he's such a great character I had to draw him again :b

Mid week

Blimey its mid week already....I've just got a Zbrush which is an awesome 3d sculpting package...I figured if i could teach myself how to use photoshop then i will brave the world of 3D modelling...now this I'snt going to be aimed at commercial uses but more to help me visualise charachters for my own projects.....so very exciting times...

Well I'm quite glad its monday...

in one weekend I managed to: get bitten by the new rabbit,slice my thumb open while attempting some DIY,and then finally chopped the lawn mower cable into several pieces...I really shouldn't be aloud to operate anything in the real world....

Well we have had almost a full week of non stop rain,which has led to some very stroppy cats marching around the house...but theres some blue sky and there all out hunting bugs or what ever else they do...so I'm able to get on with some work...Found and hour to colour in this drawing of an Orc...yep a proper Orc...mmm the memories :b

Well managed a day away from the studio yesterday,which was fortuitous as the weather was lovely..warm,sunny just what I've come to expect in April. Had a a lovely lunch at the old trip in nottingham and a good chat with a splendid gentleman who shall be collaborating on some very exciting projects in the near future...his a bit of art for fun...its not kept the rain away :(

Major V' Horst Mohn

Major Mohn is quite a sinister blighter, a high ranking member of the Fang brigade and decorated with the silver skull...Mohn is assigned to castle Olaf to oversee operations, as high command noted that there were to many prisoners were escaping and not enough screaming!!!!


Mohn is over 800 years old.and wears chainmail  under his uniform...not thats not playing fair!!!

I'm a guard here in the catacombs,theres a castle up top,or so I'm told,I never get to go.
My job is to guard these old crumbly passageways from thieving warriors and sticky fingered dwrafs....its not easy you know...and dont get me started on zombies!!! Eck!!!

The week end is almost here...
despite the frost all the cats are outside sunbathing...at least there not competing for prime spot in the studio. Any-how getting ready to travel back to Essex to see my folks...heres a quick bit of art, as its SY-FRIDAY :)....there was a time in sci-fi when the larger the  hat and shoulder pads the more important you were...or evil!!!!

Yes its a bit late....but I have been busy, I have. everyones had a bug or sniffles,poor Ferd ( my sprocket spaniel ) has had ear infections in both ears (I think its his own fault for rolling in fox poo )....but its back to normal now....
